Chi Massage

Chi (chee) may simply mean energy. To your body and mind it is the key to serenity, vitality and balance.  All good things take time and Chi massage feels so much longer than it is.

Created at ikatan Spa to  help balance Chi (energy) for those who feel overwhelmed with pressures that life brings. Personalised Chi aromatherapy oil is applied in a slow, rhythmical motion with a heated herbal compress ball. The herbal compress helps to draw tiredness from your muscles before we massage using your selected chi aromatherapy oil with nurturing slow, long flowing strokes and palming hand movements to slow your life down.

Chi massage is a full body massage that includes a relaxing foot massage, focusing on your Chi reflex points (this is not pressure point reflexology). We finish the Chi treatment with a scalp massage and time spent on neck and upper shoulders.

When exhausted, low in energy or depleted your body needs nurturing with this soothing style of body massage to gently balance and restore your Chi (energy) therefore Chi massage is delivered with a calming medium to  light pressure because firm massage pressure does not alleviate stress from your body.

Leaving the Chi aroma oil on your skin for as long as possible extends the benefit of this massage.

Due to essential oils and herbs in the Chi Massage is not safe during pregnancy.

Allow time before or after treatments to relax in the gardens with a complimentary glass of champagne (non alcoholic sparkling option) or pot of herbal T2 tea. We also have a boutique wine list, craft beer or sparkling water available to purchase.

If you are having a treatment finishing after 5:00 pm please arrive 30 minutes prior to your booking to have your complimentary beverage in the gardens.

BOOK TAXI - Due to lack of Ubers or Taxis of an evening in Noosa, we advise you to pre-book or organise your return transport from ikatan Spa to your accommodation. Book for 6.15pm for treatments finishing at 6pm as our staff have their own family commitments and will leave ikatan Spa at 6.30pm

A few days prior to your booking, you will receive a text message from ikatan Spa to the mobile number provided for your booking. Scroll down and click on the safe link to our quick online health questionnaire and fill in the details pertaining to your treatments. We require the health information to be completed by everyone entering ikatan Spa prior to your arrival for spa treatments please. Your data is only used by ikatan Spa to prepare for your treatments.
